NEET 2026: A Realistic 6-Month Preparation Guide

NEET preparation often fails not because of a lack of effort, but because of a lack of structure. Students spend hours revising Biology while Physics quietly falls behind — and by the time they notice, there is no time left to fix it.

A realistic 6-month plan starts with a diagnostic test in week one. This tells you exactly where you stand across Physics, Chemistry and Biology, instead of guessing based on how confident you feel in each subject.

From there, split your months into three phases: concept building (months 1-3), applied problem solving (months 4-5), and full-length mock tests with error analysis (month 6). Biology should get the most daily time since it carries the highest weightage, but never at the cost of Physics — the subject most students under-invest in.

Finally, track your mock test scores weekly, not daily. Daily fluctuations are noise; weekly trends tell you what is actually working.
